ROOF TILES ON

Another sunny day and the roof tiles are on doesn't look like they have finished the job as there's about 10 tiles missing they might have come up short lets see what happens tomorrow weather they have to wait for another delivery or not..

BRICKS CLEANED

Another sunny day and the bricks have been cleaned today so its a good start to the week being Monday and the weather channel states it will be sunny till thursday couldn't be happier..

ROOF TILES DELIVERED

What a perfect day for building a house today clear sky's no wind nice and sunny our roof tiles were delivered today but no workers on site, it's expected to rain tomorrow going by the weather channel so that's not good news.. Hopefully the rain holds off as we can't wait to get the roof on its been very slow and we are sure there have been delays as the bricks are still not cleaned. If the roof is on the frame won't get wet anymore as it is not treated wood.

ROOF SCAFFOLDING

Today it was a nice sunny day the bricks still have not been cleaned not sure what the hold up its been almost 2weeks but the roof scaffolding was done we are hoping tomorrow the roof tiles will be delivered not sure why there not already on site ready to go.

GUTTERS AND FACCIA

Monday was the queens birthday which meant public holiday u seem to hate them when your building a house than Tuesday it rained but today clear sky's than light Arvo rain but great news the gutters and faccia have been finished! They look great very happy with the colors couldn't of picked a better match to the bricks. Next step brick cleaning and roof tiles.

WAITING AND WAITING

Today is Friday no one has been on site since Monday when the brick work was finished it only rained on Wednesday so we are a little disappointed with how slowly things moved this week not to mention Monday is a public holiday so hopefully things will move quicker next week. I contacted elderton with a response of they have to let the mortar dry before they can clean the bricks, so once the bricks are cleaned they than start on the roof.

HE ASKED FOR TAPE I GOT A RING

Thursday 31st may we went looking at the house to my surprise he asked me to pass him measuring tape when it was an engagement ring to not only build a home but sentimental memories on this little patch of dirt is great.
