OH NO WHAT NOW BANKS!!!!!!!!!
So we are all set to go to site and what happens the bank! It was suppose to take a few days for the final construction approvel to come thur but its turned into 17 days so far and still waiting! So now the 20 days to go to site has to start from the date the bank decides to pull there finger out of there a** its a joke how they play God and blame someone else! 20 days is alot when you are building and dont have a home and your family is split up! Its been great weather for a change perfect for putting down a slab so i hope the rain stays away. Im sure most have had bank problems and its exspected.

ALL APROVELS AND CONSOLIDATED PAPERS SIGNED GOING TO SITE!
We signed the consolidated documents today and going to site in 20 days! So excited as not much has been happening just waiting for all the approvels to come back, there were a few mistakes but easy fixed. It pays to pay attention and read everything as we did over a nice brecky at rouse hill today the weather was great and hope it holds out for us. The excitement of building our home is coming back, after the paperwork dragged on i thought we were never going to get started. we spend 21k over budget we aimed for $215,000 with a cut off at $220,000 but ended up being $236,000 so easy to do and still we have to do fencing, letter box, clothes line, grass and the pool or spa! We figuered once its built we cant change it and most of eldertons standards were old style things or cheap things, we should of looked further into it but didnt think building a new home you would get dated features. I guess its good if your on a budget and dont care but not good if you like modern. few eg were all cupboards linen pantry were cheap wire shelving not good for a pantry if you have any spills, we had to upgrade to melamine shelving. Bathroom sinks we upgraded to the bowls that sit on the bench rather than the molded standard ones as i wanted to choose bench colors. we wanted a black gloss kitchen that wasnt standard and the kitchen appliances was another upgrade as the ones that were standard were in our 30year old home we just sold so we didnt want that again. Overal we did get discounts and other things put in at no cost but we paid for them in other ways, as nothing is for nothing. Looking forward to posting photos soon xxx

POST CONTRACT ELECTRICAL VARIATIONS
We recieved the variations the other day on the electrical and havnt signed as yet, we were quite shocked on how much extra a tv point is. We need the extra due to the optic fibre if you want foxel you have to put 2 tv points in one for the tv and one for the foxtel box. We are short 2 lights an extra in the alfresco and a extra in the garage but might just leave these and do later and 1 powerpoint as they dont provide an alfresco powerpoint which i think every builder should as its a living area. We also moved our indoor gas point outside so no-more worrying about gas bottles for the bbq there was a small charge but worth it for the coinveance, 1 gas bottle wouldve cost more so happy with that. Overall theres enough powerpoints and we upgraded to downlights in living and hallway so theres enought lights. We got Elderton to do just the wiring in the piers as bunnings have great big bunkers with sensors for $50.00 each great buy as other lights shops can sell them at $149. One thing we wanted to do was move the electrical box inside the gargage but with the cost of it too much we found out our electrical company can come put a lock on it and only you and them would have the key so we are going to go with that option instead.
